Silicones have very high electrical resistivity and high dielectric strength. By adding appropriate fillers, we can fine tune the conductivity and produce either an antistatic or fully conductive material.
We can produce an electrically conductive compound with a low as 8 Ohm*cm (ISO 1853). The material comes either in black, grey or dark yellow colour. Hardness range is between low 40 to high 80 ShA.
Such material can be made for compression moulding, injection moulding or extrusion, using either peroxide or platinum curing (addition curing) system.
